Interconnect blind listening test

This page describes an interesting test. I leave it to the reader to draw your own conclusions.

Any discussion of the results can be held on their page, not mine. :-)

  1. Classic… Thanks for the chuckle!
    – Piece of twisted aluminium foil from a chocolate bar
    – Old brass wood screw complete with tarnish
    – Length of tin\lead solder, also with a little surface corrosion
    – An old Yale door key
    – A few inches of plastic coated cable tie

  2. I wonder if they had used a Chubb key, whether the difference would have been audible. They also didn’t mention the brand of chocolate bar… that might have a directional effect on the wiring configuration…

  3. Don’t you think it’s funny how some people still believe in all these cable myths.
Maybe these stone age people have never heard of modern technology:

    Wisa (wireless Hi-Res sound)
    WiHD (wireless HD picture)
    Wi-Fi (wireless Internet)
Z-Wave (wireless Remote Control & Home Automation)

  4. Bart De Bie says:

    That’s why i love b&o.
They focus on real science, not myths.
Like i always say: if you want the best sound, buy beolab speakers, hook them up to a decent source and you are in heaven!
